This is Hilla speaking.
I was born 3 days ago, on May 24th 2000 at 11:45am, in Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. I weighed 3.400 Kilos. Therefore, I think I have earned my right to star in this month's page.
While I was born, Orr stayed home and was entertained by grandpa Menachem, grandma Talia, grandma Gita, aunt Ayelet and dad. She got lots of gifts, and was very happy when I arrived home. She looked at me sitting in my baby chair on mom and dad's bed, then she gave me 5 (!) kisses, and then she scratched my face. It was very lightly, but I'm begining to get the idea.
For my arrival, Orr learned to say Hilla, and she can also say that mom and dad are called Einat and Guy, and that aunt Ayelet is called Yel, and aunt Carmel is called Mel. She also learned to name and make the sounds of many more animals, and learned to say Piki, which means Kipi, who is a character from the Israeli "Sesame Street". Orr got a Kipi doll from mom and me.
Okay okay, back to me.
That's me!!! This is on the day I arrived home from the
hospital.
Yes, that is indeed a large pink bunny above my head.
Still in the hospital, the day I was born.
Aunt Ayelet came to see me.. She thinks I'm real nice.
And she's right!
I mean, look at those fingers! Look at those eyes! Look at that birthmark on my forehead!
Yeah, you're lookin' fine too...
That's big sister Orr who came to visit mom and me at the hospital.
And there's the 3 of us at home. This is just after the 5th kiss and just before the first scratch! :)
Grandpa Shimshon is celebrating my arrival!!
