The big event when I was 2 months old was my Brita party.
On February 19th I had my Brita party. A brita is like a brit - the Jewish ceremony in which the baby boys are brought into Judaism in a process too painful to even think about.
However, on a brita you don't get anything cut off - you just hang around looking cute, and all of mommy's and daddy's friends come visit you, and tell you what a pretty baby you are. Isn't it cool? I'm so glad I'm not a boy!
So all the guests came to the Ulamey Tazpit for a brunch, and they sat and talked and ate and listened to Ella Fitzgerald. I had a great time, and I got wonderful gifts! I think I'll have parties like this more often.. (isn't this great? my first greed! :) )
